Disney's Beauty and the Beast

The Fireside Theatre

Michael was born in Jamestown, NY, the birthplace of the First Lady of Comedy, Lucille Ball. According to his mother, he tap danced in the womb at all hours of the night, ready to hit the stage! Michael caught the acting bug at a very early age. He often coerced his younger sister and brother to perform skits for his parents, paying them with his allowance or assistance in cleaning bedrooms.

Before long, he outgrew the living room and was hungry for more! With his family's constant love and support, Michael began to perform as a member of the Jr. Guilders of the Lucille Ball Little Theater under the direction of Helen Merrill as well as in many community theatre and high school productions. Michael was fortunate to perform and work in summer stock, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Branson, Missouri, and Disney World as well. Through these experiences, he learned the discipline and skill to pursue his dream of becoming a professional actor.

Michael went on to earn his BFA in Musical Theatre at the State University of New York at Fredonia. He was lucky to have been guided by such wonderful professors who allowed him to grow and succeed in productions and the classroom. He is the first recipient of the Bruce Walford Award in Excellence in Character Acting. During his time at Fredonia he was also awarded the Bea Ullman Award for Excellence in Theater, the Harry John Brown and Paul Mockovak Award for Excellence in Musical Theater, and the Golden Battachio Award for Excellence in Comedy.

Currently, Michael is a New York based actor who is achieving his dream  having toured the country, performing Off-Broadway, and working for the Walt Disney Company.

Michael is represented by Hudson Artists Agency with Danny Prather in New York City and tackling the business of Show by storm!
